  5. CARS ON CD 97 contains video sequences which require the QuickTime extension (version 2.1 or later).

  7. If you do not have the QuickTime extension,
  8.  
  9. 1) Open the AppleXtra folder of CARS ON CD 97;
  10.  
  11. 2) Select the QuickTime file and drag it ON THE SYSTEM FOLDER ICON of your startup disk (the QuickTime file will be placed inside the Extensions Folder);

  13. 3) Restart your computer.

  17. FOR ENHANCED PERFORMANCE

  19. A number of factors can influence the general performance of CARS ON CD 97, the main ones being the speed of your CD player and the speed of your computer's microprocessor.

  21. Before using CARS ON CD 97, we recommend you quit all open applications and deactivate the virtual memory.
  22.  
  23. If you only have 8 MG of memory, you should limit the number of extensions in the operating system.  If CARS ON CD 97 still does not have enough memory, as a last resort you can activate the virtual memory (please refer to your computer's operating manual).
